The officers of LITA sat down with the Louisiana-based ATC (Alcohol Tobacco Control) Commissioner in April 2017 for an informal meet-and-greet and to discuss FDA’s effects on our industry in particular how the FDA’s stance on pipe tobacco will conflict with the definitions of the Tobacconist Permit each LITA member holds. Member-shops are privy to our discussions and how to proceed in the future without interruption from the state and FDA.
